Learning to Weave Plaid Sample

Lesson 6, Assignment 2 asks the weaver to design a plaid and weave it in plain weave, basket weave, rib weave, and twill (I used one random twill from A Handweavers Pattern Book and then a regular 2/2 twill). I had no problems with this assignment, and I think it turned out great.

This was my first weaving in 5/2 perle cotton, and I’ve used it on everything since. I have three more assignments to show you, as of right now, and they’re all in 5/2 cotton. Yay, 5/2 cotton!
