Needlework: I like how this cross stitch design attempts to disguise its remarkable poor taste (somebody sitting on the toilet) with charm (becuase it’s a cute bear sitting on the toilet).
Spinning: New Zealand Spinning Wheels is an interesting site — there used to be a thriving market for small makers’ wheels in the islands, apparently, and they have pictures and stories.
Knitting: Undiscovered Scotland is a “combination of visitor guide, accommodation listing and business directory.” Click a few levels down into the map, and you’ll get to see pictures and writeups of local attractions. Learn about places Alice Starmore named sweaters after. I loved the section on Shetland.
